In my opinion Tone Trump is Definitely one of the hardest working men in the music industry. I actually met Tone Trump and had the opportunity to hang out with him and chop it up a few years back and from our initial encounter I knew he had “IT”! He is a real peoples person and he personifies what it is to be from Philly. One of the things I respect about him most is his willingness to work with anyone doing something positive, I mean he’s been featured on some of the biggest mixtapes in the country but he’s still very down to earth and willing to work with anybody thats grinding, I don’t care if you’re 13 years old and working on your first mixtape, chances are if you approach the Brother Trump and ask him for a feature he’s almost certain to show you some love. I believe its that single attribute that makes him the peoples champ. He has been featured on uncountable blog site, numerous magazines and has recorded tracks with some of your favorite producers and artists. He gives back to the community through various clothing drives and speaking at different high schools. I think we can expect very big things from Tone Trump in the very near future. He has a dope Digital Album on itunes right now entitled “Trump Life” and another project in the works…..
Besides the video below being such a strong track, I also respect it for another reason, what a lot of people don’t realize is that Philly and New Jersey are literally 5 minutes away from each other and both cities are super talented but the cities have not collaborated in the past. Tone Trump managed to unify the different cities with this project, You have to respect this video, Im from Camden New Jersey and I want to let you all know he is definitely in the hood in this video, the real hood, and he was embraced.
